Bypass Position Related Safety Function

Bypass Position Related Safety Function#

Once the safety function SLP or TPL or TOM is triggered, this function will bypass temporary. The user should reset bypass functions according to the table below:

If the safety function triggered the SS2 protection. After the SS2 function reset manually, all the following conditions shall be met, the safety controller bypass the related safety function that causing the SS2.

  1. Already triggered SS2 protection.

  2. The robot shall be at standstill now.

  3. Mode-selector safety input shall be in MANUAL-mode.

  4. The position is still beyond the SS2-limit and within the STO-limit.

The SS2 protection shall be muted.

But the STO/SBC is still in effective.

The bypass state trigger condition not met.

If the safety function triggered the STO protection. After the STO function reset manually, all the following conditions shall be met, the safety controller bypass the related safety function that causing the STO.

  1. Already triggered STO protection.

  2. Mode-selector safety input shall be in MANUAL-mode, in order to prevent bypassing the position related safety function automatically on power-off and power-on.

  3. The position is still beyond the STO limit.

The safety function SLP, TPL, TOM shall be muted.

The bypass state trigger condition not met.

After the safe recovery triggered, the threshold of SLS and TCP speed shall be smaller, to prevent hazard situation happened.

The threshold of SLS/TSL after safe recovery function triggered is converted to value in MANUAL-mode.
