  1. The safety input is configured as reduce function trigger signal, when both MCUs detect the input activated, the reduce function triggered.

  2. Safety controller send the reduce command to robot controller to slow the robot down smoothly, new stricter reduce-thresholds are activated in safety functions.

  3. The thresholds transitional process from the current value to the reduce-value following the fixed formula. The formula is based on the time elapsed and distance moved after the reduce function triggered.

The red uce-thresholds are activated in the following safety function:

  1. SLP

  2. SLS

  3. TPL

  4. TSL

  5. SLT

  6. TFL

  7. SPL

  8. TOM
